Said goodbye today to a Dallas jewel. The flagship Downtown Neiman Marcus will be closing her doors soon. Not only did I buy my wedding dress here 22 years ago, but I worked in the Neiman Marcus buying offices for 10 years in my early and pre-real estate days. Yes, I learned about luxury and quality, but most importantly about customer service. I had the pleasure of a long lunch at The Zodiac with my mom, my mother-in-law and some of their wonderful friends today. Cheers to DTNM and her 109 years!
