Mercy's Shore
Mercy's Shore's mission is to reunite children and their previously incarcerated mothers in a residential program providing trauma-informed services.

Some of the moms at Mercy's Shore are doing the hard, quiet work of starting over.
- Showing up for counseling.
- Learning how to rebuild relationships with their children.
- Trying again, even when it’s difficult.
That kind of strength deserves support.
We’re grateful to walk alongside these mothers as they work toward healing, stability, and being reunited with their families.

A lot happens at Mercy's Shore that people don’t always see.
💙 Meals being prepared.
💙 Mothers attending classes and counseling.
💙 Children laughing and finally feeling safe.
💙 Small wins that slowly become big changes.
Every day, we’re helping families rebuild one step at a time, and it’s only possible because people continue to support this mission.
If Mercy's Shore has touched your heart, we’d love for you to help us keep going.

This Mother’s Day, we honor the kind of love that doesn’t give up.
Even in separation, even in brokenness, a mother’s love remains.
And when given the chance to start again, that love becomes something powerful, steady, intentional, and deeply rooted.
We’ve seen what happens when a mother is supported instead of forgotten.
We’ve seen children reunited, families restored, and new beginnings take shape.
This day is for them.
For the mothers who are trying again.
For the children who are waiting.
For the kind of love that chooses to stay.
This Mother’s Day, stand with mothers who are rebuilding their lives.
Support Mercy’s Shore and be part of their second chance.

You can tell when a child feels safe.
Laughter comes easier.
Smiles stay longer.
There’s a sense of peace that doesn’t have to be explained.
At Mercy's Shore, we don’t just provide a place to stay — we create an environment where children are nurtured, guided, and cared for as they walk through life alongside their mothers.
These are children who have seen uncertainty.
But here, they are met with consistency, love, and a community that sees them.

Sometimes, healing begins with something as simple as a day together.
We’re inviting families and friends to join us for our upcoming Community Field Day, an afternoon created for connection, joy, and rest.
We believe restoration isn’t only built through counseling and housing, it’s also built in moments like these, where children can laugh freely, families can bond, and community can simply show up for one another.
This day is about more than activities. It’s about creating space where:
🩵 children feel safe to just be children
🩵 mothers can breathe and connect
🩵 and community can step into something meaningful together
We’ve seen how powerful it is when people gather, not to fix everything at once, but to be present in the process of rebuilding.

Some moments carry more than celebration, they carry restoration.
Jordan recently graduated from Brother Bill's Helping Hand Pathways program, surrounded by the people who walked with her through it all: her dad, her mentor Ms Vernell, and her children.
This wasn’t just a graduation.
It was a picture of what happens when someone is given support, guidance, and a real chance to rebuild.
Her children got to witness it.
A mother finishing something. A family standing together again.
With Mercy's Shore, this is the kind of future we believe in, where mothers are not defined by their past, and children get to grow up seeing restoration with their own eyes.
Be part of stories like Jordan’s. Support the work of Mercy's Shore.

Because of Avis, our moms can show up.
Avis, one of our board members and donors, provided workout shoes so the women at Mercy's Shore can join our Zumba classes with confidence and comfort.
What seems small creates space for something bigger: healing, joy, and renewed strength.
We’re so thankful for her heart and support. 🩵

Your giving helps rebuild what was once broken.
It is easy to overlook how much impact generosity can have when it is placed in the right hands.
At Mercy’s Shore, every gift helps provide housing, care, and restoration for mothers and children who are rebuilding their lives after separation and hardship.
These are real families who are not just in need of encouragement, but in need of a foundation — a safe place to begin again.
We believe God moves through people. And sometimes, the simplest act of giving becomes part of a much bigger story of healing.

There are families right now praying for a second chance for stability, for healing, and for a home where a mother and child can be together again.
Mercy's Shore exists to be part of that answer. We help mothers rebuild their lives after incarceration and create a safe place where families can be reunited with dignity, care, and support.
We are witnessing restoration take place, but we cannot do it alone. It takes people who are willing to stand in the gap and help make it possible for these families to have what they need to start again.
If God has placed compassion in your heart for families like these, we would be grateful for your support.
