We challenged our employees to get out and , and seeing the local impact firsthand was the best part.
Take Traci from our Credit and Closing Team based in La Plata, Maryland.
She didn't just buy a coffee; she did a full local tour. From picking up a CSA basket at Simpson’s Market Garden ("best microgreens ever") to grabbing a coffee at Wee Bean Roasters ("way busier than the local Starbucks"), she proved that quality and community go hand-in-hand.
She even found time for some "top notch" jewelry shopping at Joson and a lemon blueberry Mascarpone cake from Charles Street Bakery that she called "next level."
To top it off, she even picked up some fresh eggs and poultry at Hancock Family Farms where you can see the whole process from hatching to table. It doesn't get more local than that.
A huge shoutout to Traci and the rest of our team for showing up for the businesses that make our neighborhoods vibrant.
