Good sound advice!!

In the last years, art has brought so much into my life, be it painting furniture, canvas, mixed media, the list goes on. Recently I have been working with and learning how to use charcoal. You should try it yourself! It’s one of the most freeing, expressive and inexpensive mediums around!

Largest canvas I’ve attempted to date! It’s a giant 48x48! What do you think it will be?

What is your favorite sealer for chalk painted furniture? Whenever possible I love to use wax! It adds such a softness to both the look and touch. What is your favorite one and color?

Got the edges painted gold, and sealed up my retro Christmas deer. She’s long-legged like most of the women in this family. I’m quite taken with her❤️❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!

Trying out a new finish...can you see the gold leaf peeking through? Next have to decide if I want to do maybe a black glaze overall to highlight the gold and texture. What do you think?

Finally moving toward the finish line with this one. Just have to add some beautiful paper to the sides of the drawers!!
