It’s a good day for a lounge. A bit overcast today with storms coming in tomorrow, so I’m feeling the need for a comfy spot to curl up and read in a cushy shelter sofa. Inspired by my own den with vintage mid-century modern Danish ceramics, a Kent Coffey Perspective dresser repurposed as a sideboard, Crate and Barrel sofa, Arteriors blown glass lamps. It’s a unique space with interesting decorative pieces collected over time.

Settling into our new home finally. Loving the turntable and vinyl treasure from Austin last weekend. Monk, The Specials and The Sundays. Nice mix for a Monday evening. ~A

Living room design board for a client. The design directive was a cozy transitional living space with a dash of mid century modern. Grey, black, walnut and MSU Spartan green. Floor plans and a furniture inventory included with this mood board enabling my client to execute the design as he is able. I take all questions and design advice on an ad hoc basis. The goal is to get the vision and move toward it at your pace, not mine. Collaboration is key. No pressure to purchase. Ever.
