I love killing the weights just as much as the next gym bro. 💪
However, at 29 years old, I'm starting to really understand the importance of recovery. It's the reason why I often times opt for resistance bands or cable style workouts when I'm feeling sore.
This versatile style of training can help aid with maintaining our fitness as we age while reducing risk of injury.
Don't be afriad to lower the weight for more control, or try out new things.
Some days I go heavy, and some days I go medium - light. It's about working the muscle, and controlling the ego.
