Mediator Barbee
Court is hard. Let's go Mediate! Schedule your mediation today with Attorney-Mediator Lindsay Daye Barbee!
After nearly a decade and a half serving clients as a zealous advocate in divorce and child custody litigation all over Texas, I’ve come to the conclusion that the majority of families benefit most from resolving their disputes outside the courtroom, on their own terms. That’s why I started this mediation practice to use my experience and understanding of the family court system to help parties find an alternative to litigation.

Rest in peace, Jim. Anyone who’s lived in DFW over the last 35 years knows the impact you’ve had as a culinary trailblazer. Personally, I’m grateful for your ability to lead by example as a champion of teamwork and mentorship. I would not be where I am today but for the invaluable skills I learned starting as a hostess and working my way up the food chain into leadership roles in management and sales. I am truly blessed by the lifelong friendships I formed at Blue Mesa, which are some of the most meaningful relationships I have. My deepest condolences to the entire Baron family.

On this page are two judges before whom I had had my first hearing and first trial. Three attorneys who worked with my Dad, and the rest…some of the folks I admire most. On the 2nd anniversary of taking the leap into being a full-time mediator, I am humbled beyond belief.

Happy Birthday to the Bard! When a Midsummer Night's Dream of matrimony transforms into a Tempest, and Love's Labour's Lost, the resulting Comedy of Errors often causes sane folks to make Much Ado About Nothing. No one can promise the outcome of trial will be As You Like It, with justice administered Measure for Measure. But, the odds that All's Well that Ends Well are far better in mediation than in the courtroom.

Although Pierre and Voltaire love traveling the world, the best experiences are often right at home. I’m grateful to Alisha Reilly and Kim Abmeyer for generously sponsoring a table at the 31st Annual Genesis Luncheon! Sheryl Lee Ralph’s keynote was truly inspiring. And that voice!
