What better way to celebrate International Knit in Public Day than gathering with friends, good food, and plenty of stitches?

This morning, a few of our knitting group members headed out for brunch before returning to the shop for an afternoon of making. There were waffles, coffee, laughter, project updates, yarn conversations, and the kind of community that makes this craft so special.

One of the things we love most about fiber arts is that knitting may start with yarn and needles, but it quickly becomes about friendships, encouragement, and sharing life together.

For my sample, I’m holding Knitting for Olive Pure Silk together with Circulo Bohemia, creating a fabric that is incredibly soft, airy, and luxurious. The combination produces a light, fluffy texture with beautiful drape—perfect for a summer top you’ll actually want to wear.

This summer, Craftique Studio is hosting a Summer Soul Top Make With Me — three Tuesday evenings where we knit through Julia Piro’s beautiful beginner-friendly tank top pattern together, step by step.

The Summer Soul Top is seamless, worked top-down in simple garter stitch — no sewing, no complicated shaping. If you know your knit and purl stitches, you are ready for this!

📅 Three Tuesdays: June 30 · July 7 · July 21 — 5:30 to 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Craftique Studio, Cypress, TX

✔ $15 for all 3 sessions when you purchase your yarn with us in store
✔ $15 per session ($45 total) if bringing outside materials
