Cy-Hope is a non-profit "Making Life Better for Kids" in Cy-Fair, Waller, and beyond.

We bring hope to kids through our backpack food program, Hope Centers, recovery programs, coaching to excel on the field and in life, counseling for children and families, as well as providing resources for families. Also, we encourage and support teachers by providing mentors and tutors, classroom volunteers, school adoptions and teacher appreciation events.

Last week, Cy-Hope was thrilled to partner with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and 4-H to host the Healthy Lifestyles Camp at Cy-Hope.

Campers spent the week learning all about healthy living through hands-on experiences, from exploring nutrition and trying new recipes in the kitchen to taking nature walks and adventuring around our ponds. And of course, they wrapped up the week with a well-earned pool party! πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

This camp was truly a partnership, and we're so grateful to the 4-H team for bringing their expertise, energy, and passion to create such a meaningful experience for our kids.

A special shoutout also goes to Houston's First Baptist Church - Cypress for cleaning out and revitalizing our Western Town during Good Neighbor Day last month. Thanks to their hard work, campers were able to transform the space into their own little marketplace, setting up shops and selling snacks in a fun, real-world learning experience. 🀠πŸͺ

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week possible and for continuing to Make Life Better for Kids!

Because of the generosity of our community, 131 families went home with food this weekend, including fresh and frozen protein made possible by a generous donation from Cy-Fair Women's Club 🩷

We distributed an estimated 2,367 pounds of food and we couldn't have done it without this great group of volunteers! Thank you to Houston's First Baptist Church - Cypress, Young Men's Service League - YMSL, and all of the amazing community members that showed up to Make Life Better for Kids with us!

Round two with VBS at The Foundry Church - Fry Road Campus! πŸŽ‰

We’re so grateful to be their mission partner and have the opportunity to share with these incredible kids how Cy-Hope is making life better for kids and families in our community.

One of our favorite parts of VBS is seeing young people discover that they can make a difference, too. Through their generosity, prayers, and service, they are helping put hope in motion right here in our own backyard. πŸ¦‹πŸ’™

Thank you, Foundry Church, for investing in the next generation and for being such a faithful partner in our mission!

Big news! πŸŽ‰

We're excited to share that Cy-Hope has received a $40,000 grant from the CenterPoint Energy Foundation to help revamp and expand our Mobile STEM Bus program!

This investment means more hands-on STEM learning opportunities for local students through new technology, interactive activities, and a structured curriculum across our Hope Centers. Even better, it will help us bring STEM experiences directly to schools, neighborhoods, and community spaces where access to these opportunities may be limited.

Our goal is to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and introduce more young people to future STEM pathways. Thanks to this support, we'll be able to reach more than 500 youth each year through our mobile STEM programming.

Thank you, CenterPoint Energy Foundation, for investing in local students and helping us create brighter futures for the next generation of innovators. πŸ’‘πŸšπŸ”¬

Thank you The Foundry Church - Jones Road Campus for being a faithful partner in Cy-Hope’s mission to make life better for kids and families in our community.

This week, Cy-Hope had the opportunity to participate in their VBS program in two special ways. As their featured mission partner, we shared about what we do at Cy-Hope and how young people can make a difference right where they are.

Foundry also sponsored 10 elementary-aged students from our after-school Hope Centers to attend VBS all week!

We're so grateful for Foundry Church's continued partnership and for the many ways they support Cy-Hope's mission throughout the year.

Thank you for helping create opportunities that make a lasting impact on the children and families we serve!
