We said farewell today to Michele who was our manager for a while and the day lead. It was great to see all the familiar faces . Life is short and our time on earth is fleeting. Love your friends and family and don’t let silly or petty things keep you apart.

It is with much sadness that I must share that our fearless and much loved leader,Mr. John Webb or JW as most of us knew him, has passed away. He was larger than life, a teller of tales and a great lover of old school country music and a wonderful boss. There will be a service of remembrance on Saturday, September 7 with visitation at 10:00 and services at 11 am. These will be held at Trinity Bible Church 13235 Kluge road in Cypress . In lieu of flowers they are setting up a memorial fund scholarship in his name with the American Criminal Justice Association. Arrangements for that are underway and as soon as we have them, we will share. We know he loved Law and scholarships to help kids, as a lifetime member of the HLSR that was dear to his heart. Rest In Peace sir! You were a treasure.

This was a great hole in the wall but sadly the logistics couldn’t be worked out to keep it open. Very sad and left a hole in cypress for an intimate lil venue for live music. Wish the property owner would’ve been agreeable and reasonable in selling the building

If you were employed at Wicks in the past year, please make sure that Janet has your current address. As the year closes, we must get ready for Tax Time! Thanks guys!

We just want to say a big Thank You to each of you who became more than just customers to us. We miss you! Thanks for giving us a part in your lives and routines. Enjoy your day and know we wish were there to share it with you! Happy Thankagiving!
