We love celebrating our staff in big ways. Our yearly census barbecue was a huge success. Staff members had a delicious cookout with steak, chicken, baked potatoes, corn on the cob and much more.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy these residents enjoyed their Summer Soirée.

To make our Summer Soirée even more zesty our Legacy resident made their own homemade lemonade. What a sweet and tangy treat!

We love making sure our residents have amazing events to participate in. Our Summer Soirée was an elegant evening of delicious food, lively music and caring staff who took the time to make sure everyone had more than just dinner. It was an experience. Early this week residents received formal invitations to join our special evening. As they entered the dining rooms they noticed it had been transformed into a bright yet elegant venue filled with twinkling lights, colorful, refreshing centerpieces and staff dressed to impress with bright blues and yellows that gave the feel of summer immediately. The meal of citrus baked chicken, asparagus, red pepper palinta, watermelon salad was amaz served with familiar smiles along with a tasty dessert of mini blueberry lemon cheesecakes. Wow what a special evening.

Calling all turtles to Legacy Way. We had a great time with the turtle race. Buddy’s turtle won by leaps and bounds as he cheered it on.

We had so much fun at our annual turtle race. Residents cheered on their hand picked racers and congratulated the winners. We appreciate the Brooks turtle race team for continuing to bring this fun to us every June.

Dr. Sproat came to give us a lesson on birds of Kentucky. These feathered friends brought some great expressions to our faces and knowledge of how special they are to our environment.

On Friday, June 5th, we celebrated the occasion by treating our staff to locally made donuts as a small thank you for all they do each day! Meanwhile, residents in our Legacy Lane unit had fun baking their own donuts and enjoying the delicious results together. A great day filled with smiles, gratitude, and even tastier memories!
