The Cupertino Library Foundation is working with the Cupertino Library and the Fine Arts League of Cupertino to bring Art Exhibits to the Cupertino Library. The Cupertino Library Foundation has committed resources to help sponsor various Art Displays inside the Library. All artists in Santa Clara County who work in 2D art are encouraged to submit their original artwork for display at the Cupertino Library.

Artwall is now accepting submissions for a chance to have your own solo display! Artists are invited to enter with a minimum of six artworks. Three artists will be selected to showcase their portfolios.
Deadline to apply: June 29, 2026
Size of the artwork: Artwork size, including the frame, up to 24”x 24” on any side
**AI-generated artwork is not permitted**
Notification of selected artists: June 30
Artwork drop‑off at the library: July 1 at 11:00 AM
For selected submissions, artists will have to drop off and pick up their original artwork on the designated date. Selected artists will be notified about the designated date, time, and place.

Let's learn Siva Samoa! Participants will learn graceful, expressive hand gestures to Samoan melodies on Saturday, June 20 at 10:30 am. For children ages 5+ and their families. All programs are free to attend. Space and supplies are limited.

From tiny forget-me-nots to great oak trees, one of the most important parts of learning botanical drawing is careful observation. And a willingness to take the time and care to draw what we see in front of us. All drawing materials and instruction will be provided. There is room for sixteen adults on a first come, first served basis.

Level Up this summer with Level Up Readers, a dedicated space where your child can read to a reading buddy and accomplish their summer reading goal of 5 books! No registration is needed. For children in grades TK and up!

Join us for music and movement with Harmony Monsters Music! For ages 0-5. Please arrive on time. Door will close when room reaches capacity.
Thursday, June 18 at 3:00 pm - Summer Origami for School Age Kids
Come and learn origami! There will be 3 projects demonstrated step-by-step. Caregivers and parents are welcome to help out and join in the folding fun. Origami paper will be provided. There is no registration required. This program is for kids who have finished grades K through 8.
Saturday, June 20 at 10:30 am - Siva Samoa Workshop
The whole family is invited to learn Siva Samoa! Participants will learn graceful, expressive hand gestures to Samoan melodies. For children ages 5+ and their families.

Filipino American puppeteer Ramon Abad presents "Tito Ramon's Pop-Up Puppet Show". This is a family-friendly exploration of modern puppetry that goes beyond Sesame Street! Kids will be invited to come up to the stage for some fun audience participation with puppets, too!

This award-winning band based in Michigan will visit the Cupertino Library for a fun concert of Latin Jazz that will make you want to move! The Lunar Octet band plays highly original and eclectic repertoire drawing on Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa, rock, African high-life music, and Brazilian sambas to forge a new sound enriched by these traditions.

Kira Hooks is a Filipina-Caucasian singer-songwriter based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born in Houston, Texas, she spent her formative years living in the Netherlands, Nigeria, Scotland, and China. Her time abroad deeply informs her musical sensibility and global perspective. Her music blends elements of soul, jazz, R&B, and folk, characterized by a rich, fluid vocal style and emotionally resonant songwriting.
All ages are welcome.

Carry your snacks, towel, bathing suit, books and sunscreen in style if you come to our Teen Summer Reading program "Design your own beach tote bag," next Saturday June 20 at 3-5pm in Community Room 201.
