Happy Friday!!! I baked this classic sourdough today with my go to score! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Big one for us, itās our daughterās senior prom tomorrow! I will share a picture soon!!

Happy Hump Day!
I made a basic sourdough recipe with modifications.
I replaced water for milk and added 2 tablespoons of melted Kerrygold butter with milk and starter. I tried a simple leaf score also. Happy with how it turned outš©¶the house smells so good too!
This easy basic sourdough recipe uses only 100g active starter, 350g warm water, 500g bread flour, and 10g salt. Mix ingredients into a shaggy dough, rest 1 hour, perform 4 sets of stretch-and-folds, bulk rise, shape, cold proof 12-16 hours and bake in a Dutch oven at 450* for 20 minutes with lid on, reduce to 425* remove lid, and bake additional 20 mins. I always have a baking sheet on lower level of my oven and add a cup of ice during second half of baking.
