Windermere Casino Night is BACK! Join us for a night of Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Hold ‘em, or just to simply mingle with friends! The cost to attend is $45 per person. Cost will include a heavy hors d’oeuvres meal that will be catered by Private Chefs of Atlanta and chips for play! Upon entry, your ticket will be exchanged for chips to play the night of the event. Chips will be exchanged for raffle tickets at the end of the evening for a chance to win prizes! BYOB! There are a limited amount of tickets available so be sure to sign up early! NO REFUNDS will be issued for any reason.

Maggiano's Little Italy is coming to Windermere- Drive-Thru Pick Up on June 10th!

On Wednesday, June 10th, Maggiano's will be bringing their homemade Italian favorites to Windermere! If you are interested, please contact the restaurant at 770-799-1580. When placing your order, please let them know you are part of the Windermere Community. They will begin accepting orders on Friday, June 5th. All orders must be placed by 12pm on June 10th. You will be given an order number and time slot between 5-6pm for curbside pick-up from the Lodge parking lot.

Dear Neighbors,

We appreciate the positive feedback we have received for the partial reopening of the tennis courts. And we know that a logical next question is, what about the gym, Lodge rentals,playgrounds, basketball courts, the Green, and the Pool opening? Here’s where we are:

Gym. The Board of Directors has reviewed the guidelines set forth by the Governor to allow access to gyms and fitness facilities. Unfortunately, our fitness center will not meet the requirements to open at this time. As you know, the gym is unstaffed. The Order requires that the operator of the facility ensure that social distancing occurs, and that staff be available for frequent cleaning and disinfecting. We simply cannot comply with this Order at this time. So, the fitness center will remain closed for the time being.

Playgrounds: In order to maintain consistency with local county government recommendations, our playgrounds will remain closed at this time. We will likely officially reopen them when the county opens its playgrounds.

Lodge Rentals. Current guidance prohibits gatherings of 10 or more people if such a gathering requires people to be within 6 feet of each other. Since Lodge rentals are for larger groups, and the whole point is for people to socialize and mingle, we will be notifying renters that their events will be postponed/cancelled. We will still take reservations for rentals, but all such rentals are subject to postponement/cancellation.

Basketball Courts. While there may be times that there are less than 10 people playing basketball, by its very nature, basketball is not a sport that is conducive to social distancing. Thus, the basketball courts will remain officially closed.

The Green. We will officially re-open the Green; however, we ask that groups that gather there be limited to less than 10, and that proper social distancing practices be followed.

Pool Opening. We believe it is premature to make any decisions regarding the pool. The Board is monitoring the State, County, and CDC recommendations. As previously stated, there are guidelines about 10 or more people being in the same place. We are told that the CDC is currently working on issuing guidance for swimming pools that should be available within the next couple of weeks. We will also seek guidance from our Pool Management Company, AMS Pools. We are keeping the pool opening set for May 16, but know that this is a very soft target, and likely to change. We will provide an update as soon as possible.

A Message from Sanitation Solutions:

Over the past few days, we have seen an unprecedented event impacting our communities, due to the ever-expanding COVID-19 virus/ pandemic. Due to this unprecedented event, we are taking measures in order to keep our employees safe, while continuing to service you without interruption, and in the best interest of the health and well-being of our employees.

Effective immediately, we are making the following changes to our service guidelines until further notice:

1. Sanitation Solutions will only pick up bagged trash that has been placed inside the trash cart and recycling materials (where available) placed inside the recycling cart or bin. Any materials placed outside the cart will not be picked up.

2. Residents are strongly encouraged to place all trash in bags which have been tied before being placed in the carts to eliminate loose debris being left in containers or on the ground.

3. Bulky waste, white goods, and yard waste collections will be temporarily suspended.

We will continue to monitor new developments to ensure that issues and/or problems are addressed quickly and effectively, as well as follow guidance from public officials and the CDC.

Santa Photos

In and Out Photos will be back again this year to take Santa Photos at the Lodge. You will be provided a Professional Photo CD the day of your shoot.
Mark your calendars because space is limited and these spots will fill up fast!

Sign ups begin October 15.

To sign up you can reach out to In and Out Photo directly at 770-889-7305.

You will receive your CD of photos before you leave that day. You will be able to use the CD to print your own pictures. Total Cost: $80 paid to In and Out Photos.
