We began Women in Construction Week celebrating leadership. We introduced you to the next generation. And today, we’re closing with three women who have helped build the foundation beneath it all. 💛

Meet three of our most tenured women:

🎨 Jennifer Dreher, Sales Consultant and Designer— EXOVATING since 2015

Together, they represent more than 40 years of experience, relationships, resilience and dedication to EXOVATIONS.

Women in construction aren’t just changing the industry’s future. Women like Taunji, Joy and Jennifer have been quietly and consistently building its foundation for years.

To every woman we celebrated this week: thank you for the talent, strength, heart and perspective you bring to EXOVATIONS. We are better because you are here—and we’re incredibly proud to have you on our team.

Day TWO Celebrating Women In Construction 🚧

The next generation is already changing the blueprint. 💙

Over the last decade, the number of women entering registered construction apprenticeships has nearly tripled—and today, we’re celebrating three of our own who are building their careers right here at EXOVATIONS.

Meet the newest generation of women helping move our workforce forward: Stephanie Allen, Cassidy Kimmel and Daniela Gonzalez Lopez.

Today, we’re spotlighting three women who were probably up before the sun—coffee made, lunches packed, dogs walked and fed—and still showed up ready to kick today right in the you-know-what. 💪☕️

Meet Candice Skinner, Business Development Director; Brandi McNamara, Director of Finance; and Kelsey Geist, Human Resources.

Women make up only 11.3% of the construction industry—but at EXOVATIONS, their impact is impossible to measure.

Definitely not on my bingo card: being sick all week with a 103° fever and kidney stones during one of the most important weeks of our year—the Atlanta Home Show

Also not on my bingo card: walking into the ER at Emory St. Joseph Hostipal of Atlanta and being checked in by Mark, who said, “OMG! You’re Candice with EXOVATIONS! I’ve listened to you on 680 The Fan for years. I love your ads… Have I Got a Tip for You!”

I won’t lie—that was pretty cool. I let Mark know he for real had some big deck energy and he’s calling us for a new beautiful composite deck!

But I don’t feel like I get to take credit for “the brand,” because it takes every single one of us to be the brand.

This week proved the message we preach every day: ONE TEAM.

For 25 years, I’ve been one of the people who sets up the shows, works the shows and knows all the things. Hello, control freak. 😂 But this week, my ONE TEAM showed up BIG.

From everyone who set everything up perfectly to everyone who worked the show today—not one person called asking me for anything. They just handled it and sent their well wishes.

THEY are our brand.

A brand built on integrity, grit and looking out for one another. Because at the end of the day, after 30 years, EXOVATIONS is so much more than “just” a job.

It’s a team. It’s a family. And this week, mine carried me. 💙 Thank you Exo Fam 🫶 -Candice

The Atlanta Home Show officially opens at 10 AM today, and we are ready to kick off an exciting weekend at the Cobb Convention Center! Admission is FREE today (Friday, September 11) courtesy of Window Comfort. 🏠
