Yesterday started our Championship Series at our home track, . It was a great day!
Heavy 160: We were fast qualifier! Normally this would mean starting on the poll, however, with an invert of 5, we moved to the #5 spot to start the A-main. With a few hiccups, we finished in 2nd.
Heavy Honda: Qualifying was slow and ended up 5th out of 10. But, with the invert this meant we moved to starting the A-main in poll position. Easton held onto the 2nd place spot for almost the whole race. With a red flag at the end of the race, the 3rd place car caught up on the restart and we ended up finishing 3rd.
Not a bad day to start our season with two podium finishes!
As always- a huge shoutout to Talon Chassis for taking care of us!
Next up for us is the Dixie Shootout Series at NGQMA - North Georgia Quarter Midget Association ποΈπ¨π

We started our 2025 season in sunny Florida this weekend for the Dixie Shootout Series at Space Coast Quarter Midget Racing Association π! While we didnβt come home with quite the results we exactly wanted, we learned and got a great feel for what these beautiful new Talon chassis can do! For having not sat in a car since November, Easton was a little timid to start, but with each time he raced he got better and it showed throughout the day. Hereβs how it went:
Heavy Honda: 13 entries in this class. Easton qualified to start 4th in the B-main. With a last minute adjustment before going into the B-main, Easton went out and was in the top 4 for the entire race. He was in a transfer spot with 2 laps to go. The caution came out and he lost it on the restart. We learned that this is the time to make your circle smaller and not leave the bottom open! Easton was super bummed because he was so close to transferring to the A-main. But, we learned!
Heavy 160: 8 entries in this class meant no lowers. Easton qualified to start 6th in the A-main. Easton went out ready to get the checkers and he showed his confidence and trust in his new car! He hung right in there and moved up to the 4th place position the entire 30 laps. There just wasnβt enough time and laps to catch the top 3 for a podium. Easton finished a solid 4th in this class.
Huge shoutout to Talon Chassis, Paul and Jeremy, for taking care of us this weekend and making these beautiful new cars ready for Easton to race!
Another huge shoutout and thanks goes to Raptor Racing Engines for getting our engines ready and being there at the track to make sure the engines were running their best!
Next up is our first home race at North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) on March 22! ποΈπ¨π
