Celebrate local author Annie Morgan's debut book launch with us!

Between teaching, running a cottage bakery, and wrangling her kids, the former journalism student writes stories about women finding themselves.

Annie will sit down with Denmark Library’s Circulation Supervisor, Lorraine, to chat about her novel "The Fractured Life of Lucy Hughes"—a story following a woman whose life splits into two parallel timelines after a surprise proposal.

Runtime is approximately 2 hours, 45 minutes. There will be one 9-minute intermission halfway through.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from FCPL! Celebrate Hispanic culture with a great book. 📚

"Waiting for the Biblioburro" by Monica Brown follows Ana, a young girl in rural Colombia whose life is transformed when a mobile library unexpectedly arrives at her doorstep. With beautiful illustrations, this book is inspired by the true story of Luis Soriano, a devoted teacher and literacy advocate. For nearly 30 years, he has traveled through the hills of Colombia on two donkeys to deliver books so children can enjoy reading no matter where they live.
