Commander Company WILL be performing Beauty and the Beast Jr. in the WMS auditorium. A huge thank you to Mrs. Beth Robinette Harper, our incredible music director, for being our WMS liaison. Performances are scheduled for December 4, 5, and 6.

Auditions for the main cast will be August 27 with additional details to come.

We absolutely love providing opportunities to the students in our community. It's why we continue in this work. Thank you all for your love and support ❤️

Hello Commander Company Theater family. This is Joey making this post. I make this post with a a heavy heart but a hopeful heart. WMS principal, Mr. Charles Moran, has chosen to displace Mrs. Witmer. This means she will no longer be a teacher at WMS. This directly puts Commander Company and all the children she serves in jeopardy. Mrs. Witmer pours her heart into our theater family. She is our leader, and I am asking for your support so that she might remain at WMS and so Mr. Moran understands the impact she makes. I am asking any current and former parents and students who feel led to reach out to Mr. Moran and let him know how much Mrs. Witmer and this theater company, YOUR theater company, means to WMS, the students, and the community of South Cumberland.

It seems this is not something that can be grieved within the school system so my hopes and prayers are that with enough support from our theater family and the Washington FCA family that Mrs. Witmer also leads that Mr Moran will change his mind. I thank each and everyone of you for your time and your support during our past 10 years. I pray that we can continue for another 10 years at WMS.
