Haburcsak Racing #40

Racing weekend is over and got pictures. A 5th place and almost lead every lap of the feature on the asphalt and set fast time again just for it to over heat again and finish 13th. Everything is getting replaced and checked and cleaned, found a couple problems, loose intake bolts and a hole in a hose. We will hopefully get it back together to practice and test
Wednesday.

Double down and we are racing today as well. Crown Vic is all good to go cleaned and ready to rip.

Made the small 45 minute drive to Dog Hollow started 6th in the 3rd “wrong” heat race and gassed it and got up to P2 on the first lap in the back stretch followed the leader to the checkered flag and finished there, which had me starting 6th in the feature made my way up to 3nd on the backstretch 1st lap then the caution came out and did a complete restart. Made my way to 4th and had to pass more experience. And got 5th to end the night. It was fun I was running the wrong gears but I’ll be back, the car was wicked fast, driver needs improvement.

Tonight is Dirt Friday. New track new dirt on the track. Packing up to be a fun new experience!!!

Finally time to race some dirt with the car running on all 8 cylinders hopefully the overheating issue is fixed.

Saturday, we got options if Jennerstown rains out tomorrow we will be taking a trip to Lernerville to race on that track it looks pretty cool. 😎. See ya’ll at one of the racetracks..

Started out the night missing all 4 hot lap sessions for both cars. First time out on the track between Seth’s mind and My mind we ran a 22.6 right out the gate in the heat race got 2nd. Set fastest time of the night in the crown Vic with a 24.3 and got 2nd. Started 5th in the 4cyl feature and battled for the lead then battled for 2nd and got 3rd with a car that pushed like a dump truck. Started 5th in the crown Vic feature and got 2nd then the car overheated and I limped it to a 3rd place finish. Overall good night. Need tires and intake on the Vic and more adjustments on the 4cylinder. See yall next weekend!!

Race day is upon us the crown Vic is all painted (needs some touch ups). Unfortunately won’t have sponsors on with money and time frame issues. But on the plus side for the second time ever it’s time for some double duty, I get to wheel a car thats been built by me and Seth Nedrow and help from the KAP Racing crew. We fine tuned this car the best we could, and hoping for a fun and decent night. See you at the track!!

Great weekend of racing car was running on 7 cylinders Friday at Bedford got water blown out the #7 plug hole and ran great at Jennerstown. Ready to take a week off and fix a few things and get better. !!CHECK THE COMMENTS FOR THE SAVE!!
