Little Rascals Early Learning Center

As many of you may have already heard Little Rascals ELC has closed its doors for good & I have moved into my retirement as of last week. This is a bittersweet moment for me. This adventure started back in 1997 with my amazing, wonderful friend Ms. Shelly. I couldn't imagine taking on this journey with anyone else! We made so many memories together & formed a bond that will last forever! What we thought would be 3 or 4 years turned into 26 years at Little Rascals. We were blessed with the best parents, children and extended families. Retiring was a hard decision for me to make after being in childcare for over 28 years. I loved my job & actually looked forward to going to work each day. Not many can say that. As parents, entrusting the care of your children to someone else has to be one of the hardest decisions to make & I want you to realize how much that means to me that you allowed us to care for your children. These children meant so much to me. They were like my surrogate grandchildren. Unfortunately, as you get older you realize that there are things you want to do that require more time to do before you get to old to do them...I will miss each & every one of you so much! I have been truly blessed over the years to have such wonderful parents & children! I have actually now cared for children whose parents were Little Rascals also. I hope over the years I have helped children in one way or another to know how special they are and that they are capable of doing anything they set their minds to. I will have many memories to cherish and look back on. Little Rascal will now be reopening with Diane Dale as the new owner after Labor Day as Little Owls Early Learning Center. It will have a total make over & a fresh new look. I wish Diane well! She will do a wonderful job. I want to also thank my family who have been so supportive of me over the years & my daughter “Ms. Brandy” who the children will greatly miss, for helping me get through this past year! I especially want to thank my husband Sam who has been so supportive of me and always there for me no matter what! There is nothing he wouldn't do for me. I don't know what I would have done without him!! He was always there to help me out anyway he could. The kids loved “Mr. Sam”. Now that we have more time together, I hope we will get to relax & enjoy our time together! I will miss this journey we took together! Now with the free time I will now have, I will be posting pictures soon from the past few months that I was unable to get to before. Thank you all once again for being a part of Little Rascals! ❤❤
