On Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, Allegany County NAACP #7007 is holding its 4th Annual festival celebrating the true emancipation of Black people who were enslaved in United States. Live entertainment, music, food and fun!

After discovering my neglected and battered 16 year old point and shoot I accepted the challenge. I ventured out into the wild (my back yard) with a single bar of battery life and the quickly setting sun in search of nostalgia.

Happy Mothers Day! To all the women with the most difficult, exhausting, time consuming, and important job in the world. You may not always feel it at times but you are all amazing and doing a wonderful job. Although, the hours are never ending you continue to show up every day with love, strength, and knowledge that will carry onto generations to come.
