Last night we celebrated our September Birthdays, Jackie and Peter. These two get it done at a high level in the barrack and on the athletic field. Make each day of this year great you two.

Battalion Head Motor Pool Officer Carlos Peralta was commissioned as an Officer last night after Retreat. Well done CP, we love ya buddy. 🅱️🅱️

Final Week of August Snack Attack.
Boys—when I was at Culver we rarely had snack attacks and when we did we never had them in a communal situation like we are able to have in our lounge. Consequently I never had that opportunity to sit down and eat food with different guys in my unit, especially guys i didn’t see that often or know that well. Part of us building that genuine identity of Brotherhood in this unit is you having those micro moments with all the different guys in your unit and just being around them. Especially the older guys interacting and affirming the youngsters. Be a mentor and model, and be brothers. Good work men.

A big beautiful class of 19 New Cadets. Through First Phase and into Second. Well done boys. Embrace being a follower, embrace giving yourself to Culver and it’s Leadership Program. Remember that Culver positions itself as the best whole-person education in the nation. The strongest and most developed young men here are able to put themselves together in Academics, Athletics, Leadership, and Social Life. High Achiever are high achieving all the time.

Boys—life is long and fruitful if we make the most of every hour and everyday. When you experience yourself actively getting better in ALL that you do each day, you can feel and see your personal growth over the course of a year. Being able to look back on yourself at a new birthday and see how much you’ve improved and developed is an amazing feeling. But it doesn’t just happen. It’s up to you. Go get em’.
