Dr. Broomell and graduate student Nina Glawe presented some of the results from our Head Start study at SEPA!

We have officially wrapped up data collection for our first infant study! Thank you so much to all the families who participated in our project and to graduate students Mykenzi and Nicole who worked so hard on these appointments for the last year and half!

Now we will be focusing on cleaning and analyzing the data to help us understand how babies learn to interact with their environment. Stay tuned for updates!

BRAIN lab member Isabelle is one of the record breaking five WCU students applying for a Fulbright award this year! We are so proud of the work Isabelle has done in the lab, since she joined us as a freshman and is now getting ready to graduate and hopefully complete her masters degree at the prestigious UCL in London!

We are so proud of graduating senior Maya Berkowitz for being selected to represent WCU and present her research "Mu Suppression and Infant Social Cognition" at the Southern Conference Undergraduate Research Forum over fall break! Way to go, Maya!

Back to school means back to research! We are still seeing babies between 9 and 12 months for our research study! Parents are compensated with $100 visa gift cards for bringing their child to WCU campus for a 1 hour session. If interested, please contact us at [email protected]
