Cows aren’t the only animals raised on the farm. Here we have the elusive potted puddy tat. Hang in there a few more weeks bud, you’ll have plenty of warm sunshine to roll around in!

One of the wildlife plots on the farm. Looks much more lush than the pastures this time of year. May have the let the cows go on a field trip.
Number 7, “Moodelle”, is one of our oldest cows. She turned 10 this year. She’s much better after her minor foot surgery yesterday. That’s her daughter, number 6, she’s grooming.
Keeping them healthy and pain-free is one of the many responsibilities in raising cattle. This old girl had a small piece of steel wedged between her toes causing a good deal of pain and swelling. We raised the hoof, removed the metal and cleaned it with iodine.

Caught this gorgeous sunrise yesterday! Life sure is beautiful on the farm!
If anybody happens to stop by the farm today or tomorrow, please use the driveway at Stan’s shop (the hay barn). We are having some driveway work done at the house.
