05.13.2024 - 05.14.2024 🏆6A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP🏆 Huge CONGRATS to Senior Bearcat, Ben Shedd for finishing 2nd in the 2024 AHSAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Due to the threat of severe weather ⛈️ the CHAMPIONSHIP was shortened from a 36 hole playoff to a 27 hole playoff Ben fought tough “rainy” weather on day 1 🌧️ And very “windy” conditions days 1 & 2💨 He shot an unbelievable day 1 score of -7, 65 followed by an incredible 9 hole score on day 2 of -3 par, 35! For a total of -10 under for the 27 hole championship!!!🏌🏼⛳️🏆 Shedd’s exceptional play earned him the 🎖️ 2nd OVERALL LOWEST SCORE IN THE STATE 1A - 7A! Way to go Ben! 2024.04.30 AHSAA SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT hosted at the beautiful @terripines 🖤💛 @cullman.bearcat.golf Advances to Sub-State with the 🥇WIN🥇today! Great performances and super play today by all 5 bearcats! Leading us to VICTORY was Junior & LOW MEDALIST WINNER, 🏆Mr Will Drake🏆 with a stellar score of -7, 65 🤯! Securing Will a spot on the ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM🔥🖤🔥💛 Following that up with a great score of E par 72 was Senior, 💪🏻Mr Ben Shedd💪🏻. Getting him an INDIVIDUAL T-2 PLACE finish. And a spot on the ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM! 🖤💛 Coming in with SUPER SOLID scores of 74 today AND T-4 INDIVIDUAL FINISHES was Sophomore, Mr John Lunsford 74; Junior, Mr Jack Yeager 74; and Junior, Mr Aaron Byrd 74!! These guys were 🔥today! Their performance landed them on the ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM as well! 💪🏻🏅🖤💛 SHOUTOUT to our individual Bearcat QUALIFIER, Mr Cole Carden with a good score of 75! 04.22.2024 - 04.23.2024 the 2024 Bert McGriff Invitational presented by @cullman.bearcat.golf AND a host of LOCAL SPONSORS 🫶🏻⛳️ the 2023 DEFENDING CHAMPION BEARCATS brought home a 3RD PLACE trophy in the premier 2 day event. Not what WE wanted but still an honor to represent THE ONE & ONLY Mr Bert McGriff and play host for our beautiful city. Day 1 @cross_creek_gc gave challenging windy 🌬️ conditions; BUT the bearcats fought hard and posted a solid team total score of 291 and scores coming in from >> Will Drake - 71 | Ben Shedd - 72 | Jack Yeager - 73 John Lunsford - 75 | Aaron Byrd - 75 Day 2 at the stunning @terripines brought beautiful weather, a team total of 296, AND hot🔥 play from Ben Shedd and Will Drake! Ben finishing up with -5 score of 67 AND Will posting a -3, 69! 💪🏻!! Giving them a spot on the 🏆 ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM 🏆!
