Please join us in congratulating one of our school nurses, Mrs. Sherry Green, as she retires after 24 years of service!

For more than 2 decades, Mrs. Sherry has been a source of compassion and support for our students with diverse health needs. Thank you for the dedication and love you poured into our school community! Congratulations! We wish you all the best in this next chapter!

This week, we celebrate 3 women who are so much more than just nurses to our students. In a school full of unique abilities and medical complexities these ladies step in every day with patience, compassion and love. Our students are able to learn, grow and thrive because of the care and dedication you pour into them daily. Thank you for all that you do Mrs. Sherry, Mrs. Linda and Mrs. Lindsey.

Today was Ribbon Cutting day at the CDC for our new 8 classroom expansion! The project is just a few short weeks away from completion! We were fortunate to be able to welcome our Alabama State Superintendent Dr. Eric Mackey, and our CCBOE State Board Member Mrs. Marie Manning to celebrate this historic day for our staff and students! Thank you to Dr. Barnette and the Cullman County Board for their fantastic support! We can't wait to reveal more pictures of our new facility in the coming weeks!

Students in Miss Karlie’s class have been working on important money skills by matching, sorting, labeling, and adding coins! These activities help students practice counting, build confidence with math concepts, and develop practical skills they can use in everyday life.
