2 new Roasted curly maple sets, getting ready to thickness sand, and start working on. One for a dreadnought m, and one for a 000. Both with ebony binding, and Adirondack tops. The 000 will have 42 inlay, and the dreadnought will be 45 inlay.

Love this roasted curly maple for instruments. Has a beautiful color, and roasting opens the pores of the wood big time. Lot more resonance from the wood. Doing a Martin 12 fret Drednought slope head banjo killer with it. Man, this thing is going to sing!

Duane Allman Born in Nashville,Tennessee, USA November 20, 1946. Began playing the guitar at age 14. He formed the Allman Brothers Band with his brother Gregg in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1969. Duane Allman’s slide guitar playing, characterized by its fluidity and expressiveness, became a defining element of the Allman Brothers Band’s sound and influenced countless guitarists. As a founding member, he helped shape the band’s unique blend of blues, rock, and jazz, creating a distinctive Southern rock sound that resonated with audiences. He also collaborated with other prominent musicians, including Eric Clapton on the “Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs” album, showcasing his versatility and musicality. The live album “At Fillmore East,” released shortly before his death, is considered a masterpiece of live rock music and a testament to the band’s improvisational prowess. His influence can be heard in the work of many guitarists who followed, particularly those interested in slide guitar techniques. On October 29, 1971 he tragically died at the age of 24 in a motorcycle accident, leaving behind a profound impact on rock and blues music.
