Here is an informational video about surf waves.
When surfing always...
1) Stay 200 ft. from shore, docks, and other boats even if your legal spacing requirement may be less.
2) Keep your tunes at reasonable volume levels.
3) Vary your boat path so you are not riding in the same spot over and over.
How To Wakesurf Responsibly: Wave Study The Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) studies the energy of waves generated by boat wakes, at various distances from shore and other variables.
It snowed in Minneapolis today and so we are socially distand and bored. It was great to hear from our buddy Trever Maur from Hyperlite Wakeboards sending some positivity.

The Ronix Vault is the easiest board to learn on. The unique shape allows for an easier approach when cutting into the toe-side wake. The edge of the board has a slightly rolled edge to allow for a more forgiving ride so you have less of a tendency to catch and edge if you do get out of position while learning.

Ronix Wakeboards created a new wakesurf board this year called the Potbelly Rocket! Named Potbelly for it's thickness and Rocket for it's speed.
Normally, surf boards are thickest at the tail but this changed shape allows the rider to get more centered on the board. Surf sessions are sometimes cut short because of the riders back leg getting too tired.
