Rebekkah LaBlue crossed the Porkies finish line as our 1st place female in 11:49:37.

What a day in the Porkies. 🧡⛰️
Congratulations to every runner who took on the inaugural Porkies Wilderness Races and to the incredible volunteers who helped make this wild idea come to life. This course asked a LOT of you, and you showed up for it.

Justin will be joining us as our videographer at the Des Plaines River Trail Races on October 10 and at Porkies Endurance this weekend, capturing the races in motion and telling the story of race day.
At OMR, we want our runners to have more than memories of race day. We bring Justin out to capture those special moments in motion, so you can relive the adventure, the emotion, the struggle and the joy for years to come. 🎥

A little piece of Porkies history. 🌲💚
We created Porkies: The First Miles to capture the beginnings of this race.
At packet pickup, we’ll have a special copy for our runners, volunteers and crew to sign. After race weekend, we’ll gift it to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park as a thank you for welcoming us and allowing us to dream a little bigger.

Race day is getting closer, and we are SO ready. 🧡
This is the first tunnel you’ll run through in Sterling. Not long after, you’ll cross the pedestrian bridge into Rock Falls and officially enter the Hennepin Canal State Trail.
There’s something about those first miles. The excitement is high, the legs are fresh, and the whole adventure is still ahead of you.
We can’t wait to see you running through this tunnel on race day.
