What is an AFO?

"Ankle-Foot Orthoses (AFOs) are SUPPORTIVE BRACES designed to control the position and motion of the ankle, compensate for muscle weakness, and correct structural differences."

Fitting an AFO into a regular shoe is tough because the brace adds significant bulk, rigid plastics or carbon fiber prevent the shoe from flexing, and it requires extra depth and wider openings to slide in smoothly.

We are over the moon to be able to help our AFO and orthotic customers with new brand, BILLY Footwear!!
