As a girl in her late 30s… this is how I make my comfort pasta a little more nourishing 💚🍝
Protein & Fiber-Rich Green Pasta
For the green sauce
Blend together:
- 100g tofu
- 100g basil leaves
- A handful of cashews
- 3 garlic cloves
- ½ cup boiled chickpeas
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp lime juice
- Little water, as needed
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ cups boiled pasta
- Chili flakes & black pepper for topping
- 2 slices homemade ragi bread on the side
Method
1. Heat olive oil in a pan.
2. Add the green sauce and cook for a few minutes until creamy and heated through.
3. Add the boiled pasta and mix well.
4. Serve with chili flakes, black pepper, and homemade ragi bread on the side.
Creamy, comforting, protein-rich… and actually keeps you full 💚

Choco Fudge Balls
Ingredients
- 15 seedless dates
- 4 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 1 tbsp flaxseed powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract/essence
Optional coating
- Melted dark chocolate
- Puffed amaranth seeds (rajgira)
Method
1. Remove the seeds from the dates.
2. In a food processor or chopper, blend the pumpkin seeds first.
3. Add the dates, flaxseed powder, cocoa powder, peanut butter, salt, cinnamon powder, and vanilla extract.
4. Blend everything until it forms a dough-like mixture.
5. Roll into small balls.
6. Freeze for 10–15 minutes.
7. Dip each ball in melted dark chocolate.
8. Place gently on parchment paper and coat with puffed amaranth seeds (rajgira).
And that’s it — soft, chocolatey, crunchy little bites 🍫

Ragi Crackers with tzatziki dip -
Ingredients -
For crackers
1. Ragi 1 cup
2. Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
3. Salt 1 tsp
4. Olive oil 2 tbsp
5. Water as required
For tzatziki dip
1. Dill leaves a handful
2. Salt 1/2 tsp
3. Lime juice 1 tsp
4. Garlic minced 1/2 tsp
5. Olive oil 1/2 tsp
6. Hung curd 1 cup
Procedure -
- in a bowl, take ragi, whole wheat flour, salt, olive oil and add water to prepare a soft dough.
- Now roll it thin in between the parchment paper.
- Cut it into desired shape and size.
- Use a fork to prick it.
- Bake at 200 deg for 15 min or until it’s crispy.
- Now for the dip, mix all the ingredients in a small bowl.
