A week ago the mission team from Living Stones was in the last day of a Pastor’s Encounter in Kenya at Kilaatu Baptist Church. What a wonderful time we had together with the graduates of the first year’s ROAR class and the students in the current class getting refreshed and recharged in the presence of the Lord!

While Day #3 of theROAR school was going on in Kenya, our last year’s graduates came in for a ROAR Reunion before the Pastors’ Encounter started. Such a joy to see them again and hear what God has been doing in their lives - 10 new churches planted and 1 in an unreached people group!!! Lots of fellowship, encouragement, and prayer over them!

We’re home!!! Thanks to all who prayed for our Kenya mission trip! Because we had no internet the last 4 days of our time there, we’ll be posting some more pictures of the outreach, theROAR-Kilaatu, and the Pastors’ Encounter this week.

Day 3 of ministry in Kenya! Location: a Maasai village school. After a two-hour, scenic drive (like REALLY scenic - passing zebras and giraffes!), and a quick stop to greet some schoolchildren, we arrived at our destination, where we were eagerly greeted by the staff and students. Introductions, receiving gifts, sharing, singing, our presentation of “The Wordless Book, and praying over the students and staff for those who needed healing followed. To end the program, we were prayed over by two Maasai elders. We also passed out school supplies, candy, and soccer balls to the students; flew kites; and enjoyed catching bubbles. It was a day that memories are made of!

Sunday in Kenya - a wonderful day of ministry. David Dewes and Jim Dee preached in two different churches; our team ministered at church and children’s ministry; an awesome prayer time over the city; and dinner/special prophetic prayer time with Joel and Joye Dicharry, our hosts.

Team Honduras has made it home safely! Thank you for all your prayers!!
