Adverse Childhood Experiences can affect anyone whether they know it or not. They come from extremely stressful events or circumstances that overwhelm a child’s nervous system and can continue to cause mental and physical health problems for the rest of someone’s life. Thankfully, there are individuals within our community who work to prevent or resolve the impacts of these experiences. If you know someone that is working to address ACEs, nominate them for our ACEs Champion award today! Show them that they are appreciated for the work they do within the community.
