Enough is enough. The behavior on these electric motorcycles that we have seen in recent months is not permitted in our town. These are electric motorcycles, not electric assisted, which is what an E bike is. Per our ordinance, these are considered a vehicle. Per North Carolina law, they’re considered a motorcycle. We have identified one individual from yesterday, seized their motorcycle, and criminal charges are pending. We are working on identifying more. These are not allowed on our roadways, and they will be seized from you if you are operating them illegally. #familystrong #communityfocused
