Today Susan, Sue, and Cheryl chopped peppers and onions for spaghetti.

This week we have roasted two turkeys, chopped three large pork roasts, and prepped carrots, celery, potatoes, and cabbage. The turkeys made 120 servings of vegetable soup and 2 1/2 gallons of turkey stock. The pork made 240 servings of vegetable soup. The kitchen smelled so good!

We are prepping for 8 pots of Bean and Rice Taco Soup. The Instant Pots are cooking the pinto beans. The kitchen smells great!

We will be distributing a simple grab and go meal today: string cheese, frozen blueberries or fresh Gala apple (both are from king Estate), and a chocolate no-bake cookie. The pantry is open 9:30-12noon.
