🔥 **Cybersecurity Alert:** The FBI and DOJ disrupted QScan and QTRouter, two China-linked hacking platforms allegedly used to target U.S. critical infrastructure and sensitive networks—including NASA, the Federal Reserve, and the U.S. Senate.

QScan reportedly scanned for and exploited vulnerable internet-connected devices, while QTRouter routed malicious traffic through compromised IoT devices, commercial proxy services, and leased VPSs to conceal where attacks originated.

**Why it matters:** Old routers, cameras, and other IoT devices can become part of an attacker’s infrastructure when they are unpatched or exposed online. Keep firmware updated, replace unsupported gear, change default passwords, and isolate IoT devices from important business systems.

The DOJ alleged that TikTok and ByteDance allowed children under 13 to create accounts, collected personal data without required parental consent, and failed to honor some parent deletion requests.
