In times of loss, it is the people who gather around us that help us survive and eventually begin to heal."

Guest column: Hope, healing and humanity in a time of grief Anyone watching the news right now is grieving. Media coverage is saturated with stories of death and tragedy — from mass shootings and war to violence in our own neighborhoods.
