In May 2014, I graduated from Lenoir College in North Carolina with a degree in gunsmithing. For years gunsmithing was a hobby of mine until I had an opportunity to get a degree in it. When someone brings in a slide because they snapped the head of a little bitty screw, the first step of removal is drilling straight down the middle.
No threads were harmed during this operation.

Browning Hi-Power
This one was severely pitted and previously reblued (by someone else) with a matte finish.
I removed some pitting where possible (some pits were too deep and also to stay within the customer's budget for the project), polished and finished by hot salt bluing.
All work done in-house.

Drilled & tapped the barrel for installation of a Skinner Sights scout mount.

This Marlin 336 is now suppressor ready.
The barrel was threaded 1/2-28 and with a knurled cap. Front sight base was shortened to allow relocation and still keep it ahead of the barrel band. The magazine tube was shortened to accommodate the newly threaded barrel and future muzzle device.
All work is done in-house at our shop in Covington, LA.

The barrel was cut, crowned, and threaded 5/8-24 at 16-1/4". Then finished with Cerakote Midnight Bronze.
