Thanksgiving is a time where not only do we appreciate what we have, but we also get a chance to give to others who may not have as much. Over 40 volunteers gathered together on a cold Thanksgiving morning on behalf of Jesus Christ and the Trinity Outreach Organization to show the love of God in a mighty way and we can't say thank you enough!!!

Each year, we get to encourage those who need it the most by providing a warm dinner, bags of clothing with shoes, plus, brand new toys on Thanksgiving morning. Won't you join us? In addition to the opportunity to serve homeless families of Metro Atlanta on Thanksgiving morning, we also enjoy giving hope with free haircuts to individuals who need one.

We know that helping with the basic needs is true help indeed. Each year, we get the opportunity to serve homeless people of Metro Atlanta by providing them a warm dinner, bags of clothing with shoes, plus, brand new toys on Thanksgiving morning. Won't you join us?

We appreciate the generosity of so many people for joining us in supplying backpacks filled with school supplies to families in need this year. Without the support of a community, we will not be able to continue to lend a helping hand to over 200 families each year. We especially want to thank Lionheart Theatre Company, 4imprint, the citzens of Norcross, Georgia and Cassandra Carter for their extremely large donations. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

The bottom line is that sending kids back to school is expensive, whether you are relatively affluent or you are straddling the poverty line. For those living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to put food on the table, school supplies are far outside their budget.

Fortunately, now through July 27th, Trinity Outreach, Bradford Gwinnett Apartment Homes and many more community groups and businesses are working together to assist children of low-income families in Gwinnett County that can't afford school supplies.
