The Covington, Kentucky Government's Holiday Lights Recycling Program with Cohen Recycling returns Dec. 1, 2025 – Feb. 28, 2026, and once again The Center for Great Neighborhoods of Covington and the Hellmann Creative Center is a drop off location.

All string lights are accepted (LED or traditional), and other electric décor like projectors or inflatable motors can be taken directly to a Cohen Recycling Center.

We are excited to see Hellmann-based artist Autumn Walsh of PopWater Studio getting the attention and praise she deserves!

NKY artist reimagines iconic landmarks with comic book-style cryptids Walsh’s art style portrays monsters attacking notable landmarks across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky such as the Roebling Bridge.

Need some help with your Halloween costume? Stop in this Saturday at the Hellmann Creative Center!

We can’t wait for Saturday! In Stitches by Becky Scott and Artmarkit have teamed up to bring you a Halloween Drop-In Clinic, 1-4 pm at the Hellmann Creative Center (the big room!). Becky will lead the costume help and Kit will lead mask making. Come for a little or come for it all, we can’t wait to see you!

Hellmann Creative Center The Hellmann Creative Center is a project by The Center for Great Neighborhood. It houses the CGN offices as well as the NKY office of Kentucky Refugee Ministries, 8 artist studios, and over 3,000 square feet of public event space.

We currently have mini studios and office spaces available. Come join the most creative, community-minded creator space in town!
