Today we honor the heart behind it all!

The Leonard Moody Collegiate Invitational was created to honor the life and legacy of Coach Leonard Moody, co founder of the HBCU Collegiate Invitational. Coach Moody dedicated his life to elevating visibility and creating opportunity for women 🥎🎓 both on the field and in the classroom.

Each year, this tournament serves as a tribute to his impact and his unwavering belief in HBCU softball. Through this platform, we also proudly offer the Leonard Moody Scholarship, available to current HBCU softball student athletes. The scholarship recipient will be announced at the 3rd Annual Leonard Moody Collegiate Invitational Tournament.
