Bought this cypress cookie soaking wet. Spent 4 months drying it out watching one crack grow bigger. Finally dried out, but had to deal with the crack. I was ok with black resin for the crack but didn’t want to see it from the side. Found a broken bit of cypress to patch the edge and filed it. Worked out how I wanted and looks great.

Walnut slab coffee table. Not sure what the legs will be on this.

Wanted to be sure this table is as stable as I can make it. 17 bow ties on the bottom and resin poured into all the cracks. I will be adding steel cross members where the legs attach as well.

21’ long x 48” - 52” cypress slab on its way to becoming a 12’ dinning table. Had to get a giant slab to get the 48” width the client wanted. This is from what is called a “double barrel” tree which means two trees that grew together.

The only trick is that I’m out of town right now, but will be back on the 23rd. You can still pick it up in time for Christmas!

Finished a custom table for a friend. Main table is African Mahogany the edge banding is genuine mahogany and the inlay is Ceylon Satinwood.
“ONE table!”, you say, “but I see TWO tables!”
That because my friend had a special idea in mind for this project. She wanted a single 12’ table that could be split into 2 - 12’ tables for parties.
It took awhile, a lonnnggg while, but we got it figured out. Each table has a wide main section and a narrow leaf. Put the two main sections together and you get a 40” wide x 12’ long single table. Separate the two main sections and add a leaf to each and you get two - 30” wide x 12’ long tables.
She wanted Duncan Phyfe style legs and I used the version with 3 legs so that they could “nest” together when in its single configuration.
I had to rebuild the structure on the bottom of the top several times to get the support arms to slide together correctly.
