We just had the best few weeks during retreat season! Here are a few memories we made with all the amazing women Contagious Joy had the privilege of ministering to during the time of retreats. Thankful for every moment God uses to give us a refreshing time. 🤍

Contagious Joy was honored to be a part of this powerful weekend at the International Christian Church in Virginia Beach! 💛 We’re so grateful for the opportunity Diane had to pour into the women at this year’s Cultivate Women’s Conference. The Spirit moved in such a beautiful way, bringing encouragement, truth, and a deeper call to discipleship in every season of life. Thank you for having me!

This year Lent and Ramadan began at the same time — a rare overlap that won’t happen again for decades.
While both holidays require some fasting and prayer, the main difference between them is their focus, and of course, the person of their focus!

Ministry life can be full—full of responsibilities, expectations, and the needs of others. But Lent gently reminds us to return to what matters most: time with Jesus.
Before the planning, before the serving, before the ministry… there is prayer.
In this reflection, we’re reminded that when we pause to receive Christ’s love first, that love naturally overflows to others.

For the next few weeks, we are still focusing on LOVE! Valentine’s Day and the month of February was a sweet reminder for Preston and I to slow down, laugh, and simply enjoy one another. Investing in your marriage isn’t separate from ministry, it strengthens it. Love at home is part of the calling, too 🤍

When we serve from Christ’s love instead of obligation, joy becomes our steady strength.
