This is an appreciation post for our Benito. not only did he work for Gutierrez Deli for the last 15 years, but he is one of the reasons why the Deli even exists. Some people may not know that Benito is Claudio’s brother, the oldest of 7 children. he’s carried the weight of being the oldest child in many ways, one being that he has cared for Claudio and his children when they were in their hardest times of life. No matter what he had going on, he has helped us in unimaginable ways. we will always find ways to repay Benito for what he has done for this business and our family ❤️ Thank you, Benito for all of your hard work and dedication to Gutierrez Deli for the last 15 years.

We know you’ve heard the news of our family deli closing, Gutierrez Deli. Sergio started his entrepreneurial journey in this space as a young man, and learned everything he needs to know from his father. Without Gutierrez Deli, there would be no Olla. Today we are reaching out to our community in a more vulnerable setting, and asking for help. We have created a Meal Train Fund to raise money for our Father, Mother, and little sister, as they transition into this next phase of life. They will be dealing with a lot of moving and ongoing expenses, while simultaneously losing the majority of their income for an undetermined amount of time.
