Sister Weekend

I've been thinking about the word "belong/belonging" a lot lately. What makes us feel like we belong? How can we know? It's a powerful emotion.

In meditating on this topic, I started to think about where I feel like I belong. Sadly, the older you get,
those places or people groups seem to streamline into something much smaller than they used to be.

My places of belonging are few and that's okay but one of them that I know for sure is with my two sisters. They have always made me feel like I belong with them. Through the ups and downs, the hardships and distance.. I know that with them, I'm always accepted and safe.

Happy Birthday to our middle sister, Julie. Very few people can make me laugh like you do! You have a tough exterior and a mushy center and I love you!

The difference between Sister Weekend, year 1 and Sister Weekend, year 18! Love this tradition and feel so blessed to be the baby sister to these two amazing sisters...who have always loved me-just as I am.

Happy New Year, Sisters! Thank you so much for a successful closeout sale and all the lovely farewell wishes....you guys truly are the best.

I need one last favor! I had a crew of people helping me move out and I've misplaced a phone number for one of my artisans. I'd love to get her beautiful dresses back to her ASAP!
