Celebrating Juneteenth 2026 in Covington includes a FREE concert at Legion Field and the Newton County Historical Committee on Black Heritage Preservation's Annual Juneteenth Parade and Festival!

🎵 On Friday, June 19, 2026, come out to Legion Field (3173 Mill Street NE) for a concert with the soulful stylings of Stello & the Supes. The concert starts at 7 p.m. and Chick-fil-A Covington - Atlanta Pizza & Gyro - Scoops Covington - Lily & Sparrow Mercantile - Issa Funnel - The Chocolate Box will be onsite. Bring a blanket or chair and your dancing shoes to celebrate the Juneteenth holiday with music and community!

🎈The Annual Juneteenth Parade will make its way through downtown Covington on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Starting at 10 a.m., find your favorite place along the route to cheer on the participants. After the parade, the celebration will move to Old Cousins/Wolverine Gym (8134 Geiger Street, 30014) for the Juneteenth Festival with vendors, live music, food trucks, activities, and a public safety basketball game!
