Tough Choice… Not Really.

I was “supposed” to be in Salt Lake City this past week for FenceTech, but let’s be real…trading Mardi Gras in New Orleans for a convention center full of weenie-bumping ego maniacs….? Ummm, hard pass.

That being said, I genuinely appreciate all the texts, calls, and messages from those of you who noticed my absence. It means a lot to know that my straight-shooting approach to this industry resonates with so many of you. Y’all are the real ones 💪🏼

I hope y’all enjoyed the show, fellas and hope you learned something between all the “chest-pounding” contests.

Meanwhile, I was over here catching beads, eating king cake, and celebrating with lifelong criends the traditik of where I came from. Enjoy the pix…

You know what’s worse than the shady people in our industry? The ones who see it happening and say NOTHING.

If you call someone out in one of our industry's Fence Groups, you’re a bully and your post gets deleted. If you post anonymously, you’re a coward. And if you sit back and ignore it, you’re part of the problem. So which is it?

This “keep the peace” mentality is doing more harm than good. Turning a blind eye doesn’t protect the industry, it protects the ones doing shady sh*t. And if this keeps up, it’s only a matter of time before the industry starts imploding from the inside out.

Where are the real LEADERS...not the self-proclaimed ones, but the actual organizations? The people with a real voice, real influence? Why aren’t they stepping up and putting a stop to this?

It's frustrating and I’m tired of seeing fencers who don’t know any better getting taken advantage of. I know exactly how it feels...when I first started out, I didn’t know how to run a business, and I got burned. It cost me money, and it literally took food off my table.

This "rant" has been inspired because some of y’all have reached out saying, “Man, everything you used to said on your podcast was true. Funny how it's taken years for people to finally see what was right in front of them."

Maybe it’s time to start talking again 🎙️..before there’s nothing left worth saving

Received a shipment and it appears we are missing a 5gal bucket of Pecan. Reached out to Stain & Seal Experts - Professional Wood Care and asked them to inquire and let me know. SAME DAY we get an email saying, "I have reached out to our FedEx contact and they have furthered the inquiry on the location of the 4th Pecan bucket. In the meantime, we understand that you need to get your job done as soon as possible and so we are placing another order for a 5g Pecan to go out today.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we investigate this matter."
