Spreading Joy with Toys for Tots

This year, in partnership with Toys for Tots, H.E.R Project INC proudly fulfilled our Christmas Wish List, sponsoring over 50 children with gifts, smiles, and holiday cheer.🌺
Through this collaboration, we were also able to bless three childcare centers with books, puzzles, and games—nurturing early learning, creativity, and community support.

Help Us Give Every Child a Christmas This Holiday Season

The holiday season is upon us, and for many families in Henry and Newton Counties, it brings more hardship than joy. At H.E.R. Project INC., we believe that no child should go without the warmth, care, or excitement that this special time of year brings. That’s why we’re hosting our Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway and Holiday Donation Drive, dedicated to providing toys, coats, and essentials to local children and families in need.

We are seeking donations and sponsorships to help make this year’s mission a success. Every contribution—large or small—helps bring comfort, dignity, and joy to our community.

We are collecting:

- Toys (all ages, including for children 10 and older)
- Gift Cards (for teens and families)
- New or Gently Used Coats (all sizes)
- New Underclothes and Socks
- Warm Hats and Winter Accessories

💜💜💜Drop a Purple Heart for Neiko!!! Kids can't even be Kids Anymore wothout violence in the environment! WE HAVE TO CHANGE THAT!! 💜💜

A grieving father has decided to combat violence in Toledo after losing his son in a senseless murder. Neiko was loving, caring and the heartbeat of their family. But his life wasn't always easy. His mother died in the year 2019. His father said from that point, he lost focus. Before that, he was into sports and was good at football and basketball, he had a bright future. That future was snatched away on April 30, 2022. He was found shot to death and his murder remains unsolved.

Neiko’s father said he lost focus after the death of his son. He was shocked and angry but knew no amount of emotion would bring Neiko back.
"It's like kids aren't kids anymore," he said. "So, I wanted to find something that I could give back. His part of what I have for him, I can give back."

Neiko’s father still wakes up every day hoping to get a call from the police telling him they've arrested someone. But for now, he's found peace in what he's doing for the community.💔
