Hello Perspective Parents,
My name is Carrisa and I have been in childcare for 24 years. The current ages that I work with are 6 weeks – 5 years old (or when the child enters Kindergarten). I keep my ratios small at 1:4 – 1:6 ratio depending on the age of the children in my care. Toddler Town is a play-based learning program. Today was my last day of Toddler Town RI for a little while. I am feeling sad and conflicted, but deep down I know this is the right decision so that I can put all of my energy into getting through my senior year at GCU. I will be back in full swing with new programming as I near the end of my schooling, so stay tuned!
I want to give a heartfelt thank you to the families I have served since reopening after Covid. The past 3 years have been so much fun for me and I love your children dearly, as if they are my own. Snuggles are the best! Everyone has a nice full belly. We had scrambled eggs, toast, and chicken apple sausage for breakfast today. :) Now the kiddos are playing with all of Owen’s sharks!

Welcome back and Happy New Year! Today we are working on getting back into our routine. We had eggs, toast and yogurt for breakfast. Next we saw Owen get on the bus to school, then we read Dino Duckling. We just finished up ASL, counting and colors, and are now having fun with Dance Party!
