Neck pain isn’t always about tight muscles… sometimes it’s about the wrong muscles doing all the work 👀
Lily came in with chronic neck pain that got worse with exercise. This is a sign that her body was relying on the wrong muscles to do the job.
If you’re bigger superficial neck muscles (like your SCM) are overactive they tend to take over movements that your deep neck flexors are actually meant to control. Overtime this creates compensation patterns.
💡Enter Chin Tucks
✅ Start with a basic chin tuck to activate the deep neck flexors
✅ Progress by adding a slow rotation while holding the tuck
Key for anyone dealing with:
➡️ Desk posture pain
➡️ Chronic neck tightness
➡️ Pain that flares with workouts
Small movement, BIG reset for your neck 🙌
Save this to try later & send it to someone who’s always rubbing their neck 👀

Seeing a lot of people struggling with sciatica lately, so we wanted to break it down:
Sciatica isn’t actually a diagnosis, it’s a term used to describe irritation of the sciatic nerve, which can cause sharp, radiating pain down the leg.
It’s often assumed to be a “disc issue,” but that’s not always the case. Nerve irritation can come from several different sources, like muscle tightness, prolonged sitting or a sudden increase in activity. This is why getting the right diagnosis matters.
At our clinic, treatment often includes a combination of:
-McKenzie Method techniques to reduce pressure on the nerve and centralize symptoms
-Targeted exercise and movement retraining to improve mobility and build tolerance
-Hands-on treatment and dry needling to release tight muscles that may be contributing
-StemWave therapy to support tissue healing and decrease inflammation at the source
The goal isn’t just short-term relief, it’s helping you get back to what you love doing and preventing symptoms from coming back.

HUGE shoutout to Luke, who just closed out his track season with a 7:45 mile! 🏃♂️🔥
Luke showed up to PT with grit, consistency, and a mindset that refused to quit. The work he’s put in, both in PT and on the track, is truly inspiring.
This is what never giving up looks like.
Way to go, Luke 👏 We’re so proud of you!!

Frozen shoulder can feel like it came out of nowhere, and for many people, it does.
The pain, stiffness, and limited movement can make everyday things (like reaching, getting dressed, or even sleeping) really frustrating.
The key? Early treatment and consistent movement.
If you’ve been dealing with shoulder pain or feel like your mobility is getting worse, don’t ignore it, getting ahead of it makes a huge difference.
